Description

The wing vestibule accessory will enhance your awning’s leisure area by providing additional shade, and protection from wind and rain. It attaches underneath the front of the awning and extends out to the ground. Two side wings provide additional cover on the sides. It creates a nice space to store gear, put some chairs, or keep a pet. It also adds privacy if the front windows are open. Made with the same cotton canvas as our tents. Fits all models of both the Kodiak Canvas 10x10 and 10x14 Flex-Bow tents. The wing vestibule does not fully enclose the awning area. There will be openings on both sides. Note that you will be required to add 2-3 grommets to your awning for optimal fit. Grommet kits (sold separately) are available at most home improvement stores or other online retailers

Without the tent, this accessory is of little use.

Will be a nice add on

So I received my tent and bought the entire accessory pack. I set it up but when I go to set up the vestibule, it says that it requires extra grommets in the canopy portion, of course my tent doesn't have those. I think if you are going to sell the accessory then the tents should all come ready to go out of the box. Needless to say I have not tried adding grommets yet so I can not say how it will turn out, just a bit disappointed.

Within the last few years, we have updated the structure and durability of our flex-bow tents. With these changes and when coming out with our vestibule accessory, we needed to have a product that could accommodate those who are buying a new tent with a vestibule, and those who may have the older version of the tent that would like to purchase a vestibule as well. We have found that having two vestibules in our product line, that can be adapted to fit multiple needs depending on age and size of the connecting tent with just a few quick grommet placements, rather than 3-4 different vestibule styles is more cost effective for both us and our customers. Hopefully, that will help make sense as to why we ask that customer’s place their own grommets, though we are sorry for the inconvenience and frustrations this may have caused. We have tried to state it clearly in the product description and owner's manual on our website.

Amazing Vestibule for Extended Camping Luxury

I am so happy I decided to get this vestibule! The canvas is strong and study and thick enough to keep out the elements. It extends my camping experience by allowing shade and dryness away from rain and coolness away from the sun to enjoy the "outdoors". Easy to put up and no issues for me. Great extra to the Kodiak Canvas Flexbow.

Great Vestibule!

So I have a 10x10 Canvas Kodiak tent. This vestibule is a fabulous extension to living space. It cuts out excessive heat on the tent, and protects from the rain. When I go on a camping trip, it will be great for privacy. The canvas is water proof and strong. Stakes and strong ropes come with this. This really gives the front porch flap on the tent strong structure. Very happy.

Great use of space and good shade

This Vestibule adds very usable space and protection from the sun. Even in the tent during the day, it shades the tent and keeps the mid-day temperatures down. Great protection for gear as well and it really bolsters the awning which I have never fully enjoyed until now.

Will be niceto stop the driving rain on lake superior shore.

Will hold up I'm sure. Wish the stakes were the same as the ones for the tent. I did not like the fact that I had to put grommets in the Awning on a new tent. This should have been rectified by now with Kodiak tents. I just purchased mine 2 months ago so it's not an old model.
Apart from that, I'm happy. That is rare.

Great tent

Took it on a weekend trip. It help up in wind and rain real well. Setup is pretty easy. Put a stove in it, and it really makes it into a nice little cabin. I just wish it had an awning over the door, but other that that it's really nice

10x14 should include this bag

Perfect bag for 10x14 flexbow tent. Wish it was included instead of that other thing it comes with.

Our Basic version of the 10x14 Flex-Bow Tent does include the duffel style bag. The Deluxe and VX versions include our handy strap-and-cinch storage bag. We are glad you have found the duffel style bag to fit your 10x14 tent and needs well.

Kodiak Swag tent review.

36 YO about 511, 180 lbs. I purchased this rig to avoid having to hear snoring in the motor home on hunting trips. This rig is great and held up to the hot days and cold nights. I did have to dry the sleeping pad out after a hard nights rain, but stayed dry for the night. The bottom of the tent is mad of a tough rigid waterproof plastic like material. This helps prevent you from soaking up ground water into the tent. The canvas body of the tent is great. It appears to be breathable, yet hold heat when you need it. It is also durable enough to rip or tear under normal contact or collisions.

I work night shifts and sleep regularly during the day. I set this tent up in my basement and sleep during the day. It keeps me in a dark environment and allows me to get the sleep I need. I feel like that speaks to the comfort and quality of this tent. I have sleep about 200 days a year in this tent. Great Zippers. Great sleeping pad. I do have this tent set up on a Cabelas cot. I did buy the bar to allow me to keep the tent taunt without having the ends staked into the ground.

I would buy this tent again and recommend to a friend.

Best tent bag design ever

Ever have issues getting your tent compact enough to squeeze it back into it's intended bag? This thing allows you to fold it as small as you can and just fit the bag around it, no worries about the correct shape or anything. Our FlexBow tents came with this style of back and I was a little disappointed when the 9X12 cabin came with a zip up back (that, btw, will never, ever fit this tent if I am the one folding it), so I just ordered another of these and it works great for this style of tent as well.
