I mean the tent is great, but I bought one for an 8' bed, and the duffle bag that is supposed to hold the poles is too short to hold the extra long rails for the 8' bed. I worry about them being damaged or damaging my truck or something else. The instructions do say that you should only have to attach the elongated rail once. I spent some $660 on this thing with shipping. I should expect a bag that holds all the pieces of the rail properly.
Finally took it out this last week for camping at a family reunion and it was awesome. Build quality is great. There were a couple storms that went through and with the wind of each one the tent hardly moved. So glad I finally got a tent like this and that I went with the 10x14. Plenty of space for the queen size air mattress with plenty of room to change at the end of it. Totally worth the money. Super easy set up and take down as well.
I have had this outstanding tent for 7 years. It is still in great shape after all these years camping in very rugged conditions. Very east to setup and take down. I also purchased the vestibule and store my coolers underneath out of the sun.. Every one who has slept in this tent are impressed how it stands up to wind, rain and snow where other tents in the area have long collapsed under the stress. The 10x14 size provides ample room for 4 with all their gear. I highly recommend this product, it is very well designed with numerous internal storage pockets . Definitely worth the price, this tent will probably outlast me, lol.
great service, great product... much better than Spring-bar and much more cost effective.
As the owner of Hastings Fishing Company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I rely on equipment that can withstand demanding conditions while providing guests with a first-class experience. The 10x14 Flex-Bow Deluxe has exceeded our expectations.
The build quality is exceptional. The canvas, hardware, and stitching inspire confidence, even after repeated use in Wyoming’s unpredictable mountain weather. Setup is quick enough for our guides, and once it’s pitched, the tent is incredibly stable in wind and rain.
What really stands out is the comfort it provides our guests. The spacious interior, excellent ventilation, and quality construction make it feel more like a backcountry cabin than a tent. It’s become a centerpiece of our overnight fly fishing trips, and our clients consistently comment on how comfortable they are.
We chose Kodiak because we wanted equipment that reflects the quality of the experience we provide, and this tent has absolutely delivered. We’ll continue adding Kodiak Canvas products to our camp as we grow.
Thank you for building gear that’s made to be used, not just admired.
