I felt a little foolish to have a payment plan for a tent, but I set this bad chad up and I'm extremely happy with it. Well worth the money.
We took ours out for a test run in the snow and it did not disappoint! With snowfall and wind all night, we had no issues. No leaks and the tent held up nice. The only thing I wish we had already (ordered one after) was an additional floor cover to help give an extra layer between the cold ground for winter camping.
So I received my tent and bought the entire accessory pack. I set it up but when I go to set up the vestibule, it says that it requires extra grommets in the canopy portion, of course my tent doesn't have those. I think if you are going to sell the accessory then the tents should all come ready to go out of the box. Needless to say I have not tried adding grommets yet so I can not say how it will turn out, just a bit disappointed.
Within the last few years, we have updated the structure and durability of our flex-bow tents. With these changes and when coming out with our vestibule accessory, we needed to have a product that could accommodate those who are buying a new tent with a vestibule, and those who may have the older version of the tent that would like to purchase a vestibule as well. We have found that having two vestibules in our product line, that can be adapted to fit multiple needs depending on age and size of the connecting tent with just a few quick grommet placements, rather than 3-4 different vestibule styles is more cost effective for both us and our customers. Hopefully, that will help make sense as to why we ask that customer’s place their own grommets, though we are sorry for the inconvenience and frustrations this may have caused. We have tried to state it clearly in the product description and owner's manual on our website.
Quality tent, very roomy and easy to keep warm with a small heater!
