This tent is awesome! Quality material, very roomy and stands up to all kinds of weather conditions. I really like the amount of windows and the zippers are extremely strong and easy to operate.
We got this tent to serve as an extra bedroom and office space as well as for camping. It works very good and we like the spacious interior. The walls are more vertical then other tents which provides more usable space. The ceiling height is great too. Overall it is a very durable and well designed tent. The canvas is breathable and seems to be water tight. It is a heavier tent and takes a bit longer to set up but once it is up it is rock solid and very secure.
We've only set it up in our driveway to see how hard it would be to do. We were surprised to find that it wasn't difficult at all. It fits our ford f150 perfectly. We're making wooden beds with drawers underneath as we speak. Can't wait to take it out in the bush..😊
Used for nearly a week but it was great weather. Was hoping to see how it did in some rain, but I have no reason to believe this cover will not shed the rain like a champ. It certainly kept the tent cool in tandem with the Vestibule. I had read other reviews about difficulty to put on, but Kodiak must have made an improvement to one side of the cover before I bought because it was super easy and it came with instructions. I also watched some YouTube videos before I purchased. I do not regret the purchase. I am still learning how to fold it best after use though and it is stiff.
This Vestibule adds very usable space and protection from the sun. Even in the tent during the day, it shades the tent and keeps the mid-day temperatures down. Great protection for gear as well and it really bolsters the awning which I have never fully enjoyed until now.
