I have had a 12 x 12 and 12 x 20 Alaknak tents

I have had a 12 x 12 and 12 x 20 Alaknak tents for years.
I am excited to have a true canvas tent now.
The only thing about the cabin is the roof height. I wish it had taller side walls to make it feel like the space of the Alaknak tents. That high peak in the Alaknak made it possible to walk around upright in more of the floor space.
I really like the quality of the Kodiak Cabin and feel like it will give years of service.

I love the tent and was able to set it up by myself did not need two people. I recommend doing what I did and went slow and did a practice set up and take down.

Packing the tent bag took me awhile but should get easier.

Thank god I got this just in time!

Thank god I got this just in time! I recently moved to PNW. My 1st outing in my loved 15yo flexbow. The first night we had nation weather service severe thunderstorm roll thru. 3 inches of rain later, warm and dry. 2 more days of lighter rain never had a drop inside. Thanks for your great products!

If i could rate 0 stars i would. The tent is not mildew treated and I had now way to set it up after hunting season. There are holes in my tent one bigger than my fist. Damage all over the place. Would not recommend

We're sorry that you had this experience with your tent. We do not claim to be mildew treated or mildew proof. Any canvas material is prone to mold and mildew if they are not cared for properly. We have information on both our FAQ's page as well as our Pro Tips page regarding mold & mildew and how to prevent it with your tent. Bottom line, you can never store a wet tent - even if it's just damp from morning dew. It needs to be thoroughly dried before you store it.

Tent was amazing and easy to set up. Took it out west to Gumo NP and it held up really well in the strong winds definitely recommend this tent.
