I set this tent up in Montana for Elk camp. We encountered several days of 60 mph wind gusts and some rain. The tent held firm and it did not leak. It was an easy set up and take down. It can be set up with just one person but is much easier with two. Very good tent for the money, I would buy another and recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a canvas tent.
I was debating on the size but glad I went with the 12x12.
If you plan to use a stove or queen bed(air mattress, etc) go with this size. It definitely helps having someone to help set up but I was able to set up by myself the first time. Great quality, feels strong and solid. Spent two nights in the mountains and loved it. Can’t wait to get back out there.

Bought this tent this summer, and took it to Montana for an archery elk hunt. Had we known what the weather was going to be like we would never have set up the tent where we did, (on top of a bald ****) . We endured 4 wicked storms in 8 days. Driving rain and relentless winds. 30 MPH plus..! I was sure the tent was going to disintegrate at any moment, but all of my worry was for nothing. The tent held up flawlessly..! I just can’t say enough about this tent, and the friendly service that we received. If you’re on the fence about spending the money, do it..! From my experience, you won’t be disappointed…!
I recently received my 12x12 stove ready tent bundle and got it put up just before a tropical storm moved through the area. Set up was not difficult and I did it by myself in about 20 minutes, the 8x8 vestibule/awning took a bit longer but now that I’ve done it, next time will go more quickly. 4 days of non stop rain and my tent remains dry inside. I’m very pleased with quality and workmanship. My order was processed and shipped quickly. This thing is a Beast! My family loves it!
