“A couple of pictures of the tents in Chile. It's a really nice product you are selling. The tents were set up for 4 month, they went through rain, wind, sun and a lot of humidity and they ended up very well.”

We absolutely love thos addition to our Kodiak tent, but we only received 1 rope and in the picture it shows 3 and also the bag isnt even bug enough for the poles to fit back into.
Some great improvements would be to add grommets and additional holes at the top to so that more of the flap can be attached to prevent rain from leaking in.
The wing vestibule only comes with one guy rope as the other two pictured are from the tent you already have. This is stated in your owner's manual.
The vestibule ridge pole is meant to go in the bag with your tent poles to eliminate the need for an additional separate bag. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it along though.
For wing vestibule attachment, all awnings require grommets to be placed by the customer in addition to the ones that already come in your awning. Please see the instructions in the wing vestibule owner's manual for reference. These additional grommets allow a larger flap over the vestibule to account for rain.
We hope this helps provide more clarification and apologize for any inconvenience.
If I could give this tent more than 5 stars I would. Me and my family camped in hatteras North Carolina outer banks (which I recommend) and this tent did outstanding. The first night was pouring rain so we zipped up the windows on the tent except the window with the covering, we still had sufficient airflow with the vents open and one window! The rest of the week was very windy. Windy as in 40 mph wind gust! One night I had to re-stake a couple of poles and guy lines but it held up wonderfully. We never got wet, and the tent never collapsed! Also with the warm weather mixed with the wind made for comfortable sleeping conditions! We camped with friends who had generic tents and it was a struggle for them. I can’t recommend this tent enough. I highly recommend it. There are also YouTube videos of this tent being tested for months on end and it did amazing. Stop looking and purchase your Kodiak today!
My wife and I ordered the 10x10 Flex-Bow Deluxe Bundle in mid-May 2025 - right before they sold out. We were initially more interested in the Flex-Bow VX with the large, triangle side windows, but those were already out of stock. We settled on the Flex-Bow Deluxe and we were so glad we did! The Deluxe has plenty of ventilation, and we didn't feel like we missed the additional windows at all.
We camped near Jemez Springs, New Mexico (at an elevation of 8,000 ft) after Memorial Day weekend, and again in mid-June. Day temps were 70s - 80s, dropping into the low 40s at night. We gently seasoned the tent our first trip with some afternoon rains, and REALLY seasoned the tent on our June trip with two rounds of hail/graupel. Side note - we live in an apartment, so did not have the opportunity to pre-season our tent prior to the trip. Even with not following Kodiak's directions for a waterproof tent, our tent held up fine to the initial rounds of rain on our May trip with ZERO leaking. And it really impressed us in June with two days of afternoon hail/graupel, high winds, and rain. This tent is built like a tank and holds up to wild weather!
The 10x10 is the perfect size for 2 people with a lot of gear who want to be comfy on a multi-day trip. It has plenty of room for two cots (we like the OneTigris Supranubis cots with the legs up to stash gear underneath) and we had enough room to move our chairs inside the tent and hang out when it was really raining and the vestibule wasn't quite enough to protect us. Although we did use the vestibule on our second trip and it's a really nice addition for both privacy and shelter for mild - moderate rain. Also, the floor liner is 100% worth it and kept things extra clean and cozy during both trips. It was a lot softer and sturdier than we were expecting.
This is an AMAZING tent. We are so happy with our purchase and look forward to enjoying it for many years!
This puts the front edge of the awning high and tight so I can walk right under it.
This is a quality hat and very comfortable.
