Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor material is a puncture resistant, 13.5 oz vinyl with welded seams, that keeps water out. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’1” high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Large front and back doors with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access. Four windows, and two vents allow ample air flow. Windows and vents have no-see-um screen mesh, keeping out the smallest bugs. A customizable gear organizer system offers plenty of places to stow gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability.

This year's Burning Man (2025) started with a 3 hour whiteout sandstorm featuring winds up to 60 miles/hour! Many structures and tents were blown down or damaged, but NOT this 9x8 flex-bow canvas tent by Kodiak!! The day after the sandstorm there was heavy rain, with winds, but again my Kodiak tent withstood it all. My fellow Burners were impressed and wanted to know what kind of tent it was : ) And it is tall enough to stand in and quite roomy too.
Already own the 10x14 and added this for solo use with cot and room to spare. High quality construction and easy setup. Very comfortable to sleep in due to breathability. It is expensive, but for me, an investment in comfort and durability.
This is an awesome tent. Easy to set up for one person. More than enough room for two people use this on my latest turkey hunt and my hunting buddy fell in love with it so he bought one for himself. Most definitely worth the money.
Got this tent for a 10 day elk hunting trip in Washington state. Took a minute to get the hang of putting it together but now it's so simple. Put an oversized cot in it a table and a chair. Plenty of room. Little buddy heater on low worked great. I got about 3.5 days on a 5 gallon tank. Now the rain and wind was ridiculous the first 6 days. Ugg.... but no leaks tent held up amazing. Got a bit dirty but wow what a tent. I highly recommend this tent.
This is my 2nd Kodiak tent and I’m so impressed by both. Definitely a car camping tent but at 70yrs old exactly what I wanted.
Stable, strong,EASY to set up water tight.
Both tents needed a bit of “seasoning” to become totally waterproof and now neither ever leaks a drop. LOVE not having guy lines to stumble over. Impressive!!!!!
