My wife and I ordered the 10x10 Flex-Bow Deluxe Bundle in mid-May 2025 - right before they sold out. We were initially more interested in the Flex-Bow VX with the large, triangle side windows, but those were already out of stock. We settled on the Flex-Bow Deluxe and we were so glad we did! The Deluxe has plenty of ventilation, and we didn't feel like we missed the additional windows at all.
We camped near Jemez Springs, New Mexico (at an elevation of 8,000 ft) after Memorial Day weekend, and again in mid-June. Day temps were 70s - 80s, dropping into the low 40s at night. We gently seasoned the tent our first trip with some afternoon rains, and REALLY seasoned the tent on our June trip with two rounds of hail/graupel. Side note - we live in an apartment, so did not have the opportunity to pre-season our tent prior to the trip. Even with not following Kodiak's directions for a waterproof tent, our tent held up fine to the initial rounds of rain on our May trip with ZERO leaking. And it really impressed us in June with two days of afternoon hail/graupel, high winds, and rain. This tent is built like a tank and holds up to wild weather!
The 10x10 is the perfect size for 2 people with a lot of gear who want to be comfy on a multi-day trip. It has plenty of room for two cots (we like the OneTigris Supranubis cots with the legs up to stash gear underneath) and we had enough room to move our chairs inside the tent and hang out when it was really raining and the vestibule wasn't quite enough to protect us. Although we did use the vestibule on our second trip and it's a really nice addition for both privacy and shelter for mild - moderate rain. Also, the floor liner is 100% worth it and kept things extra clean and cozy during both trips. It was a lot softer and sturdier than we were expecting.
This is an AMAZING tent. We are so happy with our purchase and look forward to enjoying it for many years!
