Back in 2020, we introduced our first stove-ready tents. They've become increasingly popular ever since. For those interested in camping in cooler climates, or for those that simply enjoy the warmth of a wood-burning stove inside their tent, take a look at the Kodiak Canvas Stove-Ready tents.
Very high quality construction and materials and warm as heck. Just one thing...
Really nice bag. Great materials and construction. The poncho-like attachment is really smart. Very warm. I do wish that they offered the option of having the zipper on either side. I'm a side sleeper and if you sleep on your right side, the zipper side is behind you. Harder to manage your temperature when you can't stick a leg out or have the zipper easily accessible in front of yourself. I'll manage.
I have a Chevy Colorado with a sit-on-top tonneau cover and Kodiak Truck Bed Tent. I made a wooden rail that sits over the clamps for the rails for the cover. It is level with the back latch. So I don't need to remove my rail system to use the tent. Great thing is the Kodiak rail velcros to the wooden rail, so no more guess work where to position the rails for the next set up. The tent's rail and wooden rail works as one unit when I remove them.
Took it on a weekend trip. It help up in wind and rain real well. Setup is pretty easy. Put a stove in it, and it really makes it into a nice little cabin. I just wish it had an awning over the door, but other that that it's really nice
