Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor is a seamless, heavy-duty, puncture resistant, 16 oz vinyl that keeps water out. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’6” high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Large front and back doors with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access. Four large windows, and two vents allow ample air flow. Windows and vents have no-see-um screen mesh, keeping out the smallest bugs. A customizable gear loft and organizer system offer plenty of places to stow gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. Quality of tent seems to be excellent, met my expectations. One man set up no problem, unknown to me my wife timed me putting up the tent 25minutes not bad for a 70 yr. old. When rolled up it fits easily in carry bag with the tent stake bag as suggested in instructions.
Would like to have seen some Suttle additions to further enhance the tent.
1) a little flap door for power cord
2) additional loops on roof that would attach to the horizontal pole over roof to keep center from sagging.
3) bring awning width out 3" on each side as to be even with the taupe color door/window panel, make awning 1 ft. longer coming out from the tent.
4) adjustable height awning poles

I've been using this tent during deer season, and as a shelter wile I work on my land for over 3 years now. It has held up in the snow, thunder storms, heavy winds and hevey rains that lasted for 3 days. It's easy to warm with a heater buddy. I never have to worry about critters getting in with the floor, or bugs with the screening. The zipper has held up to heavy use and the tent travels well with all my gear. I will be upgrading to a larger tent system as my family is growing, but I have been very comfortable in this tent, and i will only buy a Kodiak in the future
Very easy to set up! Simple process and high quality materials. This tent feels like it will handle almost any climate. The steaks it comes with are bigger than normal tent stakes and seem to work well with most type of ground. Excited to get it out in a few weeks and put it to the test
I ordered direct from Kodiak and got my tent faster than I expected, and safely packaged. The instructions being on the bag are invaluable, along with the way that the tent has been designed to be stood up/packaged is excellent for portability. That said, I wouldn't grab this tent if you're looking to go do a light weight hike and/or backpack. The weight is significant. That said, the weight being significant also means you're setting up a very solidly built tent. We were in heavy torrential thunderstorms with zero leaks, no straining on the seams, and no flapping of the walls. I felt snug and safe in the tent, lightning notwithstanding, and knew then that this was absolutely the right purchase. Setup is easy solo, though two people makes it even easier. A tip on solo setup - bring a small tent post, sink it into the ground and place the vertical pole on so it doesn't skid away when you go to setup the second vertical pole, it makes all the difference and has you setting up your tent in very short order. Thanks to the Kodiak team who has really made a fantastic product I know I'll be using for years to come.
Kodiak tents are as bullet proof of a tent as you can get. I just purchased my third tent from them and when I need another tent it will be a Kodiak. Highly recommend
