This is a great stove and would highly recommend for anyone. My first experience was a few years ago when a family member of mine Purchased one with a Kodiak tent for a Colorado hunting trip. Stove worked great on that trip and I was really impressed. I ordered one for myself This year and used it just a few weeks ago and it worked great except it didn’t come with a damper for the stove pipe. The one my family member had purchased a few years ago did. Had a very difficult time slowing the burn down on my stove and could only get maybe 2-3 hours burn time. Went to the local hardware store and the smallest damper I could find was 6 inch so I cut it down, got it in the pipe and it bumped my burn time up to about 4 hours. Also going to try putting a seal around the door. Think it would be really beneficial for trying to make it last through the night. I still give the stove five stars for construction, ease of use, and the way it breaks down. I really think a damper and a door seal would make it perfect!

Overall the product is very well made and I am happy with my purchase. However there is a large gap around the door that allows so much air to flow through that it makes the damper completely ineffective, which allowed the fire to take off and warped the grate. I was able to fix this with stove door seal rope, but I think it should have already came with it.
