a nice stake, although a flat top or the spike design would be a better design for using on the tent. The round top is prone to having the hammer reflect off and jamming tent material against stake causing damage to the canvas. The tent should come with different size pegs as the 12 inch are very difficult to sink in rocky terrain.

May we suggest using a rubber mallet to drive these stakes.
