Description
This must-have accessory for the new Cabin Lodge tent, will increase your tent’s living space by 44% (based on 12x12 Cabin Lodge Tent). Attach just the roof to use as an awning or combine with the side walls to create an 8x8 ft. attached room. The roof and side walls are made with Hydra-Shield™ 100% cotton canvas. Included are six large windows with no-see-um mesh. The windows can be zipped open or shut. A zippered entry provides convenient access. A poly, sod-cloth trim helps seal the bottom perimeter. Package includes roof, side walls, frame, stakes, guy ropes and carry bag.
You can attach 1 of the 1672 to model 6170 (12x12 Cabin Lodge Tent - sold separately).
You can attach up to 2 of the 1672 to model 6116 (12x16 Cabin Lodge Tent - sold separately).
Please note: without either the 6170 or 6116 tent, this accessory is of no use.

Well built
This is our 2nd ENCLOSED AWNING ACCESSORY in additon to the one we have on the other side of our Kodiak Canvas tent that we used as our camping bathroom suite.
This new addition we used as our gourmet camp kitchen. Nice addition to are 10 day trip.
I purchased the 12 x 12 canvas, wall tent and awning that attaches.
The 12 x 12 wall tent was very roomy and a great size for long-term camping. I did end up adding four more ropes one at each corner of the tent (I feel one diagonal rope at each corner is not efficient) This allows the tent to be very sturdy in heavy wind. Note: after I added the additional ropes at each corner the tent hardly moved, even though I could hear the winds outside.
The awning was a great addition, allowing room to place unnecessary equipment outside of the tent, it was very roomy and a welcome edition.
We did have an issue where the awning would leak, especially against the tent closest to the door when it was raining.
I would think about adding to the wall tent four additional ropes and steaks for the corners which allows the tent stability and reduce vibration in the wind. Also, in my last wall tent I had an area in the floor that would unzip to put my wood-burning stove. I think when you suggest that we cut the floor for this purpose it's not A very good solution. I suggest you think about adding a zippered floor.
My suggestion of improvement on the awning would be to add a canvas pocket at each eyelet on the awning that the polls could slide into without the holes being exposed to the element.
