Awning Gable Pole

I have 3 koduak tents but bought these for my 10 by 14 biwflex vx to add a screenroom onto the end of the awning. Perfect fit! Lots of extra bug free room here in Florida! Ty Kodiak again!!

I purchased the Kodiak 9 x 12 with awning a few months ago. The best money I ever spent on a canvas tent. Outstanding product, well built, and can handle 60mph winds. Found that out in Northern MI, along with torrential rains. Thus my additional purchase of the Awing Gable Poles. The awning held up beyond expectations, the only issues was the rain was so heavy that it accumulated on the awning edges and I had to raise it to drain the water. I am talking inches of rain in a matter of minutes. Added note, absolutely no water came through the tent or the awning during this storm. Completely dry inside. So, long story longer. I purchased two additional awning gable poles and placed them in the center of the awning and secured them to the support poles with cable ties. Problem solved, no more water, it no longer accumulates in heavy downpours. Thanks again Kodiak Canvas, for an outstanding product.

Thanks for the review. Sounds like a creative fix. Some other tip to keep water off the awing is to make the poles are taut. There are also some additional guy out points along the edge of the awing that can be used for this purpose. Additional guy ropes and stakes sold separately.
