Haven't gotten to set it up yet but it's unfortunate that we have to seat our own grommets.
Everything was as expected except for the need to seat our own grommets for the vestibule.
Look up how to make a bowline knot. Order some lag bolts in place of the stakes.
10/10 tent, canvas is superb and the vinyl flooring is very heavy.
Kodiak canvas are the best tents. They are rock solid. They hold up under hard thunderstorms!
Last year I was planning on attending a 2 week camping event, somewhat locally to where I live. The plan was to go back and forth, so I needed a tent that could stay up during a storm without causing my fellow camp mates strife. I loved the performance of the 10x10 so much, that I added the 10x14 to give us a bit more space. I am at an income level where this is a big purchase, and it is one I can make without doubts because the tent is outstanding (…in a field, or will be once I put it up).
