Our family of eight has made many memories over the past 15 years in our trusty Kodiak Canvas Tent. It has traveled to a variety of locations, been used all-year round in all types of weather conditions, and is just as remarkably sturdy and reliable today as the day we bought it. The interior is spacious, and it's so easy to setup. Now that our older kids are getting married and starting their own families, we have chosen to purchase each of them a brand-new Kodiak Canvas tent as a wedding gift so that they can continue to join us on campouts.
Well worth the money! Great car camping tent! Surprised at the easy set up for the size..
If you just buy the tent, you will be missing out on this great option! Made our stay extremely comfortable in the north Georgia mountains, particularly during some rain we had while staying there! We moved everything up under the awning and it was perfect. Looking forward to using the sides later on - but we did not need them on this trip. Suggestion: We purchased a 12'x20' tarp to go under our tent and it gave us a flooring under the awning which kept down the tracking of dirt in to our main 12'x12' tent. I highly recommend this!
With some initial problems upon arrival, I became concerned over the level of customer service I was receiving, or not receiving. However, a new Kodiak Canvas service rep took over and smoothed things over very quickly. The problems were handled quickly, professionally and efficiently. We are not prepared to fully review the tent just yet, but will do it soon. Initial impressions include words like high quality and the perfect tent for our needs.
