Tent reviews
The tent looks great. Haven’t had a chance to set up yet but it’s what I wanted. The only thing that could be better would be a bigger bag to store it in. Zippers work well but bag to small. I have to fight to get it in bag. It’s very annoying. I want to be able to store it in bag so it last and is not exposed to mice dirt water etc. if it was 6 inches rounder it would make a great difference. I refolded tent may times but no matter what I still struggled with zippers. The tent looks awesome. Just the bag sucks. Lol

Can be set up by one person
It is a little more difficult to set this tent up by a single person, but it can be done. I attached the back to a tree, and staked down the rope in the front and I was able to get the roof elevated by myself. Someone on YouTube suggested you could use the top of your car for this purpose. This tent is extremely heavy, as is the bag of stakes. It is also as roomy as reviews state it is. This will come in handy during inclement weather, where most of my time will be spent in the tent. So the only part of set up that would require two people is getting the top main roof bar situated, which can be hacked, as I found out. I'm used to cheap, lightweight Kmart type tents, so this is a different experience all together.

12×12 lodge tent
Very very good tent! The only issue we had was the ridge pole dosen't have velcro attachments so when you get lots of wind it blows inward but other than that it is an amazing tent !

12x12 lodge tent
I had the original version for 6 years. I probably used it over 300 nights and it was great . When purchasing the exact tent I had previously ,I expected the same quality. It appears there have been some design changes that effected the quality. Things are breaking on the first trip I set it up. The price went up and quality went down. -------------------------------------------------- Thanks Jeff for your honest review. At Kodiak Canvas design updates are ongoing as we are constantly looking for and making product improvements. There was a design change on the Cabin Lodge tents to incorporate stainless steel rings vs brass gromets for the pole and guy rope attachment point. This update is not only stronger, it uses less material (saves some weight), and allows the tent roof to drain better. You may perceive this as a downgrade. We assure you it is not. Downgrades and cutting corners is not in our nature here at Kodiak Canvas. If you have trouble with your new tent, please reach out to our customer service, and we will get you covered. Happy Camping, Kodiak Canvas

By far the best tent i have ever owned and used set up is easy and fast and while set up it is solid ive used it in hard soil as well as soft sand the zippers never bind on me and zip smoothly i would recommend this brand of tent to anyone in the market for a tent and the customer service was by far the best ive ever dealt with in any company ive encountered i talked to them about wanting to upgrade a bunch of items and they very much so took care of me i promise im not sugar coating anything this is an extremely good product and company

Great tent, bag too small
Order and shipping was super fast once the 12 x12 came back in stock! It did arrive with a hole through the packaging so hopefully the canvas didn’t get damaged in shipping. Storage bag came with product but from factory rolled up it will not fit in Carry bag for tent is too small to put tent into, length wise.

12x12 canvas tent.
This is definitely a high quality canvas tent. Not that crap that cabelas calls canvas. This is the real thing. Feels very heavy like a canvas backpack. The bottom is a very thick vinyl like a commercial bounce house material. If you're like me and looking for a real heavey duty canvas tent, this is it!
