Meet the newest member of the Kodiak Canvas's Stove Ready (SR) tents. The Cabin Lodge tent is where rugged meets refinement. Made with high performance, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make this canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess that are common with synthetic tents. The sewn-in floor is a tough 13.5 oz vinyl with welded seams, that keeps water out. The tall ceiling (7.5 ft. at peak) and vertical wall design (4 ft. at sides) provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. The large front door means no crouching when you come and go. Six large windows provide openness, and excellent airflow. Windows can be opened and closed from inside the tent, and feature no-see-um, screen mesh that keeps the smallest bugs out. A covered storm window and vents can be opened to circulate outside air, even when rainy. The door and windows feature top-rated YKK zippers. This design, boasting a frame with 1-inch, galvanized, steel tubing, will hold up to strong winds and even snow loads. A stove jack allows for use of a wood burning stove to keep you warm when temperatures drop. If using the tent without a stove, just zip the stove jack cover closed. A zippered storage bag and hefty, 12-inch, steel tent stakes are included. Requires two adults for setup. Limited lifetime warranty.

    10x10 cabin tent

Posted by Fischer Marcus on 12-12-22

Just came back from a weekend snow camping trip. This tent endured 35mph+ winds, and 2ft of snow like a champ. NO seams or ceiling dripped water. The floor is bombproof and I love all the ventilation options. I paired this tent with a Wilderness 4 stove. Absolutely love this thing. Great deal.

    Excellent Reputation

This was a gift, so I am not reviewing it from that perspective. But this purchase was made by the comments and recommendations from deer hunters who winter camp and use these tents when deer hunting in the high country. They should know!!

    Amazing 10x10 tent

    Posted by JFS on 12-05-22

The tent took two adults to put up over top of the 12x12 ground sheet I also bought from Kodiak (worth it, don’t cheap out). Once up, it looked very sturdy and comfortable. The stove pipe hole is located on the left as soon as you come in, leaving ample space for 2 cots and supplies. We stayed in it for 5 days in southern Quebec on the last week of November and it was quite reliable. The wind was howling at night and temp was -10C/14F and you didn’t even notice. It rained 30mm/1 inch on Wednesday and the tent stayed warm and dry. I would recommend this tent to anyone for whatever you are doing outdoors.

    10 x 10 Cabin Lodge Tent

I am 110% satisfied with this purchase. I has exceeded my expectations. Stitching, zippers, latches -everything is of very high quality. I have now set it up and taken it down twice. Very easy. I used a wood stove in it for three nights (two of which is snowed) and it worked well. Kept things toasty. I would recommend this to a friend.

Just bought - needed new tent for hunting. Set it up in yard to make sure I know how when hunt comes next week - quality product. Easy to set up - and lots of room - can’t wait to get it into the field.

    Great Canvas Wall Tent

    Posted by Kris on 03-09-22

Being my first Canvas Wall Tent I dont have anything to compare to but I can say the design & build quality of this tent is excellent. Its hard to see how to improve upon it considering the relatively low price point. I like the color of the walls and the roof lets in lots of light. Abundant windows with excellent mesh. In combination with a good stove and a few rugs makes this setup a very cozy space. It has withstood the light winds we have had with no issue and the one small rain shower didn't produce any leaks. The guy wires are long and provide a very stable design but the downside is they make moving around the tent a little challenging as I dont have much space. A fix for this will be setting some posts into the ground close to the tent and tying them off there. My only worry is that this will be discontinued at some point because I can see buying this tent again when mine wears out....which I guess will take several years. Lastly I would say that when looking to add a fun space in the garden to play in and sleep with my 4 year old, tuff sheds, bell tents, tipi's and popup tents dont come close to this in terms of cost, fun factor, bug control, ventilation & space (perhaps a bell tent is closest but I think this cabin design works better in more varied weather conditions).
