Bonus Ground Tarp included With Tent Purchase!
Model 6013. Introducing our VX series featuring large triangle windows on both ends of the tent. The extra windows give you extra ventilation, extra openness and extra views. This feature is a must when camping in hot summer weather, allowing you to really open the tent up. When conditions change, simply zip the windows shut from the inside. The VX series is identical to our Deluxe version with the exception that instead of funnel-flow vents, you have large triangle windows on both ends. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability. Available in 10x10 and 10x14 sizes.
Whether you’re headed to the campground with your family, or elk camp with your hunting buddies, this rugged, all-season tent is well suited for the occasion. Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor is a seamless, heavy-duty, puncture resistant, 16 oz vinyl that keeps water out. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’6” high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Large front and back doors with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access. Six large windows provide openness and superb ventilation. Windows have no-see-um screen mesh, keeping out the smallest bugs. A customizable gear loft and organizer system offer plenty of places to stow gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. The handy strap-and-cinch storage bag means no cramming a tent into an undersized bag. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability. Hefty 12-inch steel stakes, and a poly ground tarp made to fit your 10x10 tent is included.

We just completed our third camping trip with our new Kodiak Canvas tent and we are smitten. It is spacious and the quality is unmatched. Pros: Heavy duty, spacious, standing inside, awning for air during storms, two entry points, multiple storage options, cannot beat the quality for the price. Cons: We saw three major storms and we did feel mist and got a little water it will require further waterproofing, it is a heavy set up not meant for backpacking or carrying long distances, so many stakes needed for stability but we visited a very rocky campground and it was almost impossible to drive all the stakes in (recommend lag bolts and washers with impact drill for ease of installation). Overall, we are overjoyed and cannot wait to use this tent for a long time to come.
I haven't opened the box yet. My other 10x10 is moldy.... I have been washing it. It's so rainy and humid here. It needs to dry first so I can pack it away. I can't wait to use the new one camping this weekend. I am looking forward to the side windows and taking an afternoon nap.
Beautiful tent and very easy to set up. We have not taken it out yet but when I seasoned the tent in the backyard for a couple of days of rain not a drop got in. This will be used for camping at developed or off grid camping and will make my wife very happy as the inside is very spacious and comfortable. Quality tent. I would buy again but with the great quality, I don’t imagine that I will ever have to.
Have not had a chance to use it yet! Mn weather has'nt cooperated yet! Have a couple trips planned. We are excited to use it! Not much else to say!
Very impressive build and quality control on this tent. Initial backyard text set up was a breeze solo. No internal condensation to report on morning inspection prior to disassembly. Maiden voyage for this baby will be in 2 days. At this point i’m sold with the Kodiak brand.
We loved our kodiak canvas 12x9 cabin tent so much that we bought the 10x10 flexbow. We opted for the flexbow for shorter weekend trips. The setup was simple. We had less space than our 12x9 but with all of the windows it did not feel like it! Air flow was fantastic! It rained (but we had previously seasoned the tent so we weren't worried) and it held up without a drop of water inside. We had standing water that you could feel under the tent but nothing came inside. We did not have the awning up during the storm. The tent is an excellent quality and will be making many fast trips with us in the future. I highly recommend this tent and the 12x9 cabin as well (we got the sides to attach to the front which creates another nice dry space to store gear).
I use this tent for an art studio. It has been on a deck in my backyard for almost two years and is still sound. Previously I used nylon tents which started disintegrating after less than one year. Canvas is definitely superior and is well worth the extra money.
To The Kodiak Gang Received our tent a day early, the box was in good condition, did an unboxing, everything was accounted for and in perfect condition. Did an initial setup, not so much to familiarize ourselves with the setup process (watched the setup process on You Tube), but more importantly to season the canvas as recommended in the owners manual. Our maiden voyage will be in 2 weeks, and we are really excited to use our new tent, my wife actually gave it a name, Kodie how fitting. We could tell immediately how well this tent is designed and the quality of materials and workmanship of the end product. Thank you, you guys ROCK! Allen & Judy
This tent is everything we wanted it to be. It is tall on the inside, sturdy as hell. We added the vestibule as well and it adds another dimension to the tent. The VX is well worth it for the additional windows for summer camping. So much better than our REI tents. They're still great tents, but not in the same league. We've used the base camp 4 in the past. The Kodiak is a no brainer if you need 4 season tenting.
