The Colorado Stove Story

Colorado Stove has a history rooted in building quality wood-burning tent stoves for hunters, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Originally known as Colorado Cylinder Stoves, the brand earned a reputation for rugged construction, thoughtful design, and reliable performance in demanding conditions.

When Kodiak Canvas began developing its stove-ready canvas tents, we searched for a wood stove that could match the durability and quality of our shelters. We found that partner in Colorado Cylinder Stoves. In fact, our original 12×12 Cabin Lodge tent was designed specifically to accommodate the Colorado Cylinder Stoves Spruce (Medium) model.

The combination proved so successful that in 2023, Kodiak Canvas acquired Colorado Cylinder Stoves, bringing the two brands together under one roof. Today, the stoves carry the Colorado Stove name, but the commitment to quality, innovation, and dependable performance remains.
